Mike Pence Just Issued A Disgusting Response To Trump’s Charlottesville Controversy

In an entirely unsurprising turn of events, religious extremist and virulent homophobe Vice-President Mike Pence announced today that he stands by the President’s words, officially endorsing the President’s declaration that there were “very good people” in the crowd of neo-Nazis and white supremacists, one of whom killed a woman and injured nineteen more last Saturday with his car in a terror attack.

“What happened in Charlottesville was a tragedy, and the president has been clear on this tragedy and so have I. I spoke at length about this heartbreaking situation on Sunday night in Colombia, and I stand with the president and I stand by those words.”

Pence has been President Trump’s biggest enabler, standing by him no matter what kind of heinous and decidedly un-Christian thing he does on a daily basis. Being an outrageous bigot himself, it’s only natural for him to endorse Trump’s praise of other bigots.

But most importantly, seeing as Trump’s presidency is clearly on the rocks, Mike Pence seems intent on disqualifying himself to replace him – a prospect we can all applaud.

The idea of having a president willing to espouse the most appalling aspects of the Donald Trump administration without the accompanying cartoonish incompetence is a truly terrifying thought.

White supremacy and neo-Nazism has no place in our society, and it’s outrageous that we have to have this argument in the year 2017. Anybody who supports what the President said yesterday should be barred from politics forever.

Add your name to millions demanding that Congress take action on the President’s crimes. IMPEACH DONALD TRUMP!
