On the heels of yet more leaks from the White House, Trump’s new Communications Director, Anthony Scaramucci, admitted that Trump has given him the green light to attack – publicly, if necessary – Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, whom he apparently holds responsible for the leaks.
Per The Daily Beast:
White House officials and outside allies say the president is revelling in Scaramucci’s campaign against Priebus—undertaken through cable news appearances and a billow of tweets, some of which were subsequently deleted—and is thrilled to see a top staffer placing a publicly bombastic emphasis on White House leaks to the press, which consistently infuriate the president.
One White House adviser claimed, “The president specifically gave [Scaramucci] the green light to go after Reince,” on-air if necessary. Scaramucci himself told CNN that he had Trump’s “blessing” to launch the intracabinet assault.
While Trump claims that he “is not concerned with Reince’s feelings,” he also has no interest in firing his Chief of Staff. He is, however, fine with his Communications Director engaging in a publicly proxy war to shame the embattled top cabinet member.
Despite Scaramucci’s bombastic rhetoric, many of the “leaks” he decries were not leaks at all. For example, he assailed the “leak” of his public financial disclose form, threatening to get the FBI involved.
In case there's any ambiguity in his tweet I can confirm that Scaramucci wants the FBI to investigate Reince for leaking.

While Scaramucci may revel in his new position as Trump’s errand boy, his reckless attacks on the administration’s own Chief of Staff are just the latest signs of turmoil in the White House. He may enjoy the spotlight now, but it’s only a matter of time before his shameless pandering to the President takes its toll on what little integrity Scaramucci has left.
