Trump Just Attacked A Senator Over TrumpCare. Her Response Is Courageous

Despite winning a razor thin 51-50 vote yesterday, one allowed debate to open in the senate on the Republicans’ ObamaCare repeal and replace plan, President Trump isn’t happy.  Two Republicans voted against the motion – and therefore against him – and he wants the world to know.

In between a tweet storm announcing his plan to ban transgender Americans from serving in the military, President Trump found time to single out one of the senators, Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, for letting the Republican party down by opposing a bill that could strip 32 million Americans of their health insurance over the next 10 years.

Normally when Trump publicly shames his fellow Republicans – whether it’s on on social media or in speeches and interviews – those Republicans either retreat into silence, apologize, or otherwise fall in line.  Senator Murkowski, however, isn’t rolling over for anyone, not even our ‘Bully in Chief.’

Speaking to reporters outside the senate chamber today, she responded to the President’s attacks with a counter punch heard ’round the world.

President Donald Trump told an Ohio rally crowd yesterday that he’s more presidential than all other presidents, except for Abraham Lincoln. Since he holds Lincoln in such high regard, perhaps he should consider one of Lincoln’s more famous quotes the next time he abuses the authority his office affords him.

“Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.”

Add your name to millions demanding that Congress take action on the President’s crimes. IMPEACH DONALD TRUMP!
