It was an idea so ludicrous that Twitter practically exploded with laughter.
Putin & I discussed forming an impenetrable Cyber Security unit so that election hacking, & many other negative things, will be guarded..

When Donald Trump sent this tweet out a mere 13 hours ago, everyone from the usual Twitter wags to Senators from his own Republican party, including John McCain and Marco Rubio, ridiculed the idea using wildly imaginative variations on the fox in the hen house analogy.
Maybe it was the lack of sleep after rushing to the golf course immediately after returning from a long and fruitless trip to Europe for the G-20 meeting, but Trump must have been feeling defensive today after he read the reactions to his “impenetrable” fortress of cyber security to be developed with the very people who managed to hack the electoral system to begin with.
What other explanation can there be for the extremely rare Twitter retraction that Trump just posted?
The fact that President Putin and I discussed a Cyber Security unit doesn't mean I think it can happen. It can't-but a ceasefire can,& did!

I guess a large enough avalanche of mockery, derision, scorn, and laughter (at, not with) can drive someone like Trump into lame backtracking while trying to change the subject.
Really, when you think about it, when Trump discusses ANYTHING, it doesn’t mean that it can happen. At least, we’d better hope not.
